The Four-Leaf Clover: Art and Craft

Real Natural Four-Leaf Clover, Pressed and Dried for Jewelry, Phones, Craft Art, Keychains

The meaning of the four-leaf clover is apparently much deeper than we thought! Such a jewel thus reminds us of a very important symbol and constitutes a daily reminder of certain values to apply in order to be happy. Whether we seek to express love, friendship, or courage with it, a lucky clover will make an ideal gift for anyone who holds a place in your heart (including yourself).

In jewelry, the four leaves represent hope, faith, love, and luck. (This is the most shared belief.)

The Clover: An Inspiration for Art

A four-leaf clover is a shape designed to resemble a clover. The four-leaf clover was quite popular, notably in Gothic architecture.

This term comes from two common Latin words: “quattuor” (meaning four) and “folium” (which translates to leaf).

John Melton, an English writer, wrote the following in 1620:

"If a man walking in the fields finds a four-leaf clover, he will shortly thereafter find something else good in his path."

In 1927, Mort Dixon wrote a song titled “I’m Looking Over a Four-Leaf Clover.” The famous musician Harry M. Woods composed the music for the song.

Art Mooney and his orchestra turned this song into a major hit in 1948.
